“Oh, my sweet summer child," Old Nan said quietly, "what do you know of fear?" Fear is for the winter, my little lord, when the snows fall a hundred feet deep and the ice wind comes howling out of the north. Fear is for the long night, when the sun hides its face for years at a time, and little children are born and live and die all in darkness while the direwolves grow gaunt and hungry, and the white walkers move through the woods” - George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones
So for those of you who have read the A Song of Ice and Fire series, you know what I'm getting at with this graphic. I've always wanted to make an ice horse, and I've read the mentioned series as well as watched the TV spin-off (and have become almost obsessed). The words of House Stark are, "Winter is Coming," - words as cold as the lands that they rule. So I decided to base my manip off of that quote, and soon my ice horse came to represent one of The Others, or a White Walker as the TV series calls them.
“The Other halted. Will saw its eyes; blue, deeper and bluer than any human eyes, a blue that burned like ice.” -George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones
You're just so good now. o.o
